:ar: Click on No, I only want to perform a one-time scan to check this computer on the Setup page . Click Next once done .

:ar: Let it scan the PC once its done Click Next

:ar: Click Activate free license to start the free 30 days trial and remove all the malicious files from your computer then click Next

Upload the log . See if the log is in here C:\ Program Files\Hitman Pro\Logs

Why would you want to do a system restore ? That will bring all the stuff you removed .

I can't open some MS Office programs I need...I was able to until the other day, and I tried to do system restore to try and get that to open again. Even if I try to repair a program it can't do it. Comes up with a msg : "run2click failed" or something like that. I thought the system restore might not be working because of the malware I might have picked up, but even it's all cleaned up now, It still won't do it.
Do you think reinstalling the OS is the only way to fix this?

ESET found Win32/Kryptik.BDGF trojan ....Description ---> Win32/Kryptik is a generic detection for a dangerous self replicating trojan virus that infects local and network Windows platform computers. Win32/Kryptik will hide in running processes and create multiple malicious files in the system32 folder and prevent security applications from quarantine or removing its files or updating its definition database. Win32/Kryptik has the ability to reinstall its files after deletion which makes it extremely difficult to remove manually.

This trojan signifies a possible Rootkit. You would be better off to wipe and do a "clean" install.
