Can Restore Point Reverse Microsoft OCX Software Upgrade

I want to uprade some Microsoft OCX Common Control files.
The docs with the download say "'This package cannot be uninstalled.".

So obviously there is NO Uninstaller.

However, will a Restore Point Reverse this Install -- I would consider these other than "system files"?

I would just image before if I really wanted an option to go back, system restore is not as reliable.

That's what I decided I would do.

FWIW: After some research, Restorer only affects "system files".
How M$ defines what constitutes a "system file" is unknown.
I would guess Kernel and User dll's for sure.
Their dlls supporting their software, probably Not.
Whether Common Controls are included in this ??
