Hey there, booted up my pc and this appears
Few strange things have been happening, ive done all the usual scans we ask people to run on here etc and nothing, i do remember accidentally deleting my "Michael" Account from the C:\Users but nothing went wrong after that, that is the only thing thats changed. cheers

I have not ever heard of cpu.exe

Hi. I don't know what it is or where it came from. Maybe check Windows Temp and User Temp folders.

Possible workaround:

I tend to use an application whitelisting component that can be configured to prompt for action when unsigned files attempt to run. It can be set to block automatically (not worth the hassle) or ask the user to choose an action.

Sorry i have been busy, sorry took me a while to post back on this particular thread, I done a system restore and that seems to have solved the error! thanks for all your help again!

I recommend still doing your security scans.
Their might be little goodies hiding in your restore point.

yeah i ran all of the usuals, il run an MBAM full scan over the course of the night, cheers!
