When attempting to access
www.environment.nsw.gov.au all I get is a blank screen. I have started internet explorer without add-ons, tried compatability mode, reset privacy settings, typed in the IP address instead of website and added as a trusted site. But after all my efforts I have had no result. The computer is running Windows 7 Enterprise x64.

The page also has flash content. I will update flash, but I doubt that this could be the problem as no text or script opens.

Have you checked whether the firewall is blocking that site? - does the site function on other computers in the same group policy?

I am in the I.T department hahaha. My guess is an OS malfunction as I have attempted to:
Add as trusted site
Look via compatibility mode
Go to web address as an IP
Reset privacy options
Tried different browsers
Attempted to ping
All to no avail.

You have a company firewall in the way, probably, or your Hosts file is loaded.

or your Hosts file is loaded.
What do you mean by this?
It is not the firewall as in this building we have access to the website from all of the other 340 odd computers on the same network.
