Hello,
I recently upgraded my network with the following
TD-8616 - Welcome to TP-LINK
TL-WDR4300 - Welcome to TP-LINK
TL-SG1008D - Welcome to TP-LINK
This is a very good solution of 150 euros total cost and very reliable
Anyways, everything works fine BUT i have a "small" problem with the modem! Using the default settings
router ip: 192.168.0.1
modem ip: 192.168.1.1
ethernet adapter settings
Assuming I wanted to use only the modem connected directly to my pc, and according to the manual http://www.tp-link.com/Resources/document/TD-8816_V7_User_Guide.pdf (page 13/67), I should manually set my ethernet to use 192.168.1.2 in order to access the web based configuration page 192.168.1.1 of the modem. Ok, this worked.
But when i use both modem and router, i try to access 192.168.1.1, i get no response.
I have tried changing my router's ip address from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.1.2 (assuming that the modem will see the router as client pc) but with no luck.
Any ideas?
