Solved Cannot boot after deleting old windows7 partition.. White cursor

OK so I set the setting to RAID and it booted! I am currently backing everything up to my external with a system image of C:

I'm sure this was not the original problem, you guys probably solved that. I think I created this last problem along the way. I wish I could say I learned my lesson to research things first before I try them but that's not the kind of person I am, that's why I'm so neurotic about backups. Thank you for all of your help kaktussoft and gregrocker, thanks for sticking with me.

RAID?? Do you use RAID? Was that the original setting? Leave it this way, although you don't use hardware raid at all I think.

The original problem was bootmgr was missing .... don't know why.
And you did startup repair with wrong recovery disk. That didn't place bootmgr there.

The RAID setting is sometimes generic for SATA. .

Is there any chance the 2tb HD is actually two 1tb HD's in a RAID array? Check now, although it should have revealed itself by now.

Is the Win7 SSD still booting off of the other HD? Where is the System flag? Can you mark it Active and run the Repairs now to place the System flag on it?

If you Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 I would make sure to break any RAID (accessing its controller before the first BIOS screen) and install in AHCI mode with HD's unplugged.
