Okay, so I wanted to dual boot two operating systems so I shrunk my main partition in half but didn't format the new partition. Now, I want to delete it or format it but it doesn't work, instead gives me this annoying error message "The system cannot find the file specified". How can it not find the file specified? It's 170 GIGABYTES. Also, it doesn't have a name, so is that the reason? I can't find it in "My computer", so is that why? It says underneath that it's "Healthy", and a "Simple Volume". Please get back to me ASAP.

OS
Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
Click Start, type Disk Management and press Enter.
Right click on the 170GB partition you created and select Format.

That will assign a drive letter to it once the format is complete.
A quick format should be sufficient.
