Cannot see file in burning program

I have downloaded memtest to my downloads folder. I can see it in explorer. But when In try to browse to it in Burnaware I do not see it?

Try another burner

I like ashampoo burning studio free 6.80, got it from cnet. Just do a search you will find it. Burned memtest to boot cd to test the mem on the new computer I slapped together.

Is memtest already bootable or should it be burnt as make ISO/make boot ISO or just burn image? thanks for reply. if anyone knows why i cannot see it in BurnAware...

I am now trying to create boot IOS and do not understand how such a small file is taking 20 mins preparing compilation in BurnAware

i got a copy of memtest that apparently does not need to be run from a bootable cd. Not sure if it checks all RAM says all unused RAM

I see no one else replied. Just try not using the burner software you have. Double click the memtest.iso.zip it will show you the iso. Then while still in explorer double click the iso, and you can use the built in windows burner. It should make a workable boot CD for you. Memory testing is done on boot. On boot up when your boot CD is in you should get a quick message ""Boot from CD" (DVD)" then just push a key to use it. Try that out....
