Can you give me a prnt screen of your Programs and Features

Click on rb: click on Control Panel click on Uninstall a program under Programs .

Click "Tools" -> select "Manage Add-ons" and search for the entries that could be related to Babylon Toolbar (Babylon Toolbar, Babylon toolbar helper, Babylon IE plugin, babylonToolbar.com). Disable them.

On

Click "Tools" -> select "Manage Add-ons" and disable Babylon Toolbar related entries (Babylon Toolbar, Babylon toolbar helper, Babylon IE plugin, babylonToolbar.com).

Use RevoUninstaller to remove Babylon

Double click Revo Uninstaller to run it.
From the list of programs double click on The Program to remove
When prompted if you want to uninstall click Yes.
Be sure the Advanced option is selected then click Next.
The program will run, If prompted again click Yes
when the built-in uninstaller is finished click on Next.
Once the program has searched for leftovers click Next.
Check Select All on the list then click Delete
when prompted click on Yes and then on next.
put a check on any folders that are found and select delete
when prompted select yes then on next
Once done click Finish.

Then run

Click here AdwCleaner

:ar: Click on Download Now button

:ar: Save to the Desktop

:ar: Right-click on AdwCleaner.exe and choose

:ar: Click the Delete button the PC will restart open up the log

:ar: Upload the AdwCleaner[Sn].txt in your reply.

The log file is at C:\AdwCleaner[Sn].txt

Not a trace of Babylon left... problem persists

I also need to mention that I have been using Babylon (the paid program) for years and years and never had this problem before

No, not pop ups, the not being able to click on mailto: links anywhere and after getting the error "mail client is not correctly installed", IE opening a million windows non stop...

Download the tool and save it to your desktop .

When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
Press Scan button.
FRST will let you know when the scan is complete and has written the FRST.txt to file
