If you go to c:\windows\resources\themes and double-click aero.theme does anything extra happen?

Looks like Aero Shake is working now (Im sure it wasnt before...)
Mabye the hacks are not working because i have no drivers for my graphics chipset at all..?
All these hacks are aimed at Vista is seems..are there any for 7..?

The forcing aero thing did not work still coming up with this message "The current video card may support Aero if the video card driver that is compliant with the Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM). Contact the video card vendor for the latest WDDM-compliant driver for the video card."
the result I got for the WEI is 2.5 that is good right? still having problems with aero!!

Hello Blackbitz,
I believe Dwarf's post above pretty much summed it up with your card only supporting DX7 instead of DX9. Your card just doesn't meet the minimum requirements to be able to run Aero.
