Can't burn cd with Media Player

After I drag what music i want, hit burn,it will jump from whatever percentage it has burned already to 99% and eject without recording any music.I am using the proper cds and they are clean to begin with. Is this a driver issue ?

Try a different burning program, such as the free CDBurnerXP and see if it does the same thing. Many have had problems with the WMP burning functions.

The program name suggests its for XP but its fully Win 7/8.1 compatible.

This will also tell you if its WMP or some other problem.
