Can't download large files without corruption suddenly

2 Days ago I started having an issue with downloading large files. I never have any issues with downloading, but over the last 2 days virtually all of my large downloads have been corrupted. Most of the files are .rar or .zip files. Some are multi-part, and some are single .rar files. I have downloaded them from multiple sources, so I know it's not a particular site. I normally use Internet Download Manager, which never gives me any trouble. Now all the archive files are corrupt and won't extract. I'm guessing other large file types would corrupt too but archive files are easy to verify for corruption - they won't extract without errors so I know the files are corrupt.

I have tried downloading files as a single connection through IDM, and also 4 or 8 connections, and no matter what all archive files are corrupt. I also tried some larger archive files direct in my Firefox browser, and those also arrive corrupt. At this point I have no idea what is going on. I have Verizon FiOS. Download speeds are as fast as ever, but now large files are corrupt. Small .zip and .rar files seem to complete fine. I'm out of ideas. Anybody have any suggestions? I ran memtest86+ just about 3 weeks ago to test my hardware on an unrelated matter, and 8 passes completed fine. Like I said, this just started happening 2 days ago. I tried unplugging my router, and ran ccleaner and rebooted my PC. No change. I can browse fine and download small files, but large files won't come over without corruption. I did download 1 2GB .rar file about an hour ago through IDM and it extracted without errors, but all other files are still coming over corrupt.

I've also tried multiple files from multiple sources in Jdownloader. I never have any trouble with this software but even this fails. All files come over corrupted, and Jdownloader fails to extract, just like Winrar and 7-zip. Files like small video clips seem to come over fine, but then there's no way for me to verify if they are corrupted so it's impossible to tell. I tried some torrents and they completed fine and verified fine.

Another note - I also tried disabling my antivirus (Avira free) just to see if that had any effect, and it didn't. Also disabled firewall and no change. It's also not the hard drive because I've tried multiple hard drives. I also ran Avira, Malwarebytes, and Spybot scans. Everything is clean.

Any suggestions? I really need some help here. Every large archive file I download is corrupt. I ran memtest86+ this afternoon and completed 2 passes with no errors, but I had to shut it down and leave. When I ran it a few weeks ago for 8 passes it passed without errors, so I doubt it's a memory issue. I also uninstalled and re-installed the drivers for my network adapters. I can't figure this one out.

I resolved my issue a long time ago - it turned out to be my Verizon router which had gone bad and was corrupting data. As soon as they sent me a replacement router the issue was fixed, and I haven't had any trouble since.
