Can't enable both headphones and speakers at the same time

I've been through some guides on internet and the problem is that my headphones are being detected as speakers even though I tick the square that stands for headphones (pop-up window then device is pluged-in).

What I wanna do is that I want to hear voice from speakers and headphones at the same time. I can't do that and if I want to switch from one device to another I need to unplug headphones (or plug in).

Mark them as separate playback devices. That's about all I can say based on what little info you have provided.

Thanks. Now my headphones are detected as headphones, so I canuse internet guides and everything works.

Oh wait, no. Applying those settings ruins my microphone making it not work.

NOTE: I'm not talking about micro in headphones.
Any help?

Keep the "Recording Device" tied together then. How many microphones do you have?

Post an image of both Playback and Recording windows from your sound panel. (Right click the speaker in the lower right--Notification area.)

I have 1 micro as a seperate device, the one from headphones is not plugged in. Oh, I actually forgot that I also have one from USB camera (but I dont use it at all).

Screenshot was made with headphones unplugged, but pluging them in doesnt change anything.

Looks like it's working the way it should with the headphones unplugged.

Reboot then plug the headphones back in.

Try to leave the Device Advanced Settings as below (I think it's default)




Then click on the folder icon below Advanced System Settings and set it as the pic below

Really? Are you saying the speakers and headphones work simultaneously with those settings?
