Solved Can't enter BIOS settings on new SSD

How did you boot it?

Also do you know how C partition got put in first position because EFI System partition which boots the OS is normally always firs?

What do you mean how did I boot it? I just installed Windows onto the SSD using the disk that came with the laptop. The EFI partition is first isn't it?

I asked how you booted the disk to install to the SSD since you say you cannot now boot a disk. It's not a trick question.

And if you'll look at your Disk Mgmt screenshot you can see that the EFI System partition is following C, something I've never seen before. How did you deal with partitions when you got to that step? Was the disk pre-partitioned or did you create those two? Try to remember exactly what transpired because it is freakish.

To install on the SSD I just connected it to the laptop and booted up with the disk in the drive and installed from there, I had the hdd disconnected at the time

I created those two partitions, the 300gb drive is the old HD that I wiped.

OK the installer autostarted because the Ssd was blank, to be expected.

So can you access the BIOS or it's one-time Boot Menu (f2 or F12) when you unplug the HD, SSD and/or the flash stick installer or DVD drive?

OK I think the problem is solved, I took out the HDD and just booted with the SSD and now I can access the boot priority settings, I connected the HDD back up and its still allowing me to access it.

Thanks for the advice, as always its top notch on here.
