Hi.
I have two computers with Windows 7 (of course) and they are networked with a cable.
Both have Shark007 codecs x64 and the 32bit.
On my main computer I can see FLV files in media player.
On the remote computer I can't.

The strange thing is that when I go to the physical folder of the FLV file and I double click on it, the FLV plays with Media Player. BUT when I launch the Media Player and browse to the Video list, I can't see the preview of the FLV files nor play the file.

Any thoughts?

Hi thanks for Replying.
Unfortunately, it didn't work. Let me rephrase that.... I can see FLV files with WMP when I double click on the file, however, when I open the WMP and through WMP only, I navigate to the Video folder on the left side of the WMP screen, I am not able to play the files.
Furthermore, I see this problem only on my second computer which is networked and I use it as media center.
I want to access my videos from my living room to my work room. I open the WMP on my media center (e.g., living room) and navigate to the video section on the left side and I can only play AVI files.

So not FLV and not MKV files can be played when I try to open them through WMP only.

Right click on the FLV file. In the dropdown box, select 'open with' WMP...make sure the box is checked.

Now see if the files will play when clicked on from within WMP's video list.
