Can't see Vista drive in Windows 7

I have 2 harddrives. 1 has vista installed on it and the other has win7 installed. when I'm using vist I can see the hard drive that has win7, but when I'm using win7 I can't see the hard drive that has vista on it,

How can I make it so that I can see the drive that has vista on it?

no go no success this is kind a irritating all my stuff is in windows vista partition and after so many things is tried i am not able to access my vista partition from win 7 and i am unable to provide any drive letter as strangely it shows letter c already assigned to the vista partition and win 7 as X drive as i originally installed it in windows vista. is anybody been able to find resolve for it. i am using bcd edit if that makes any diff.

Are you doing this from within Windows 7 instead of Vista? In Windows 7, the Windows 7 partition or drive should be labeled as C: instead.

Your OS should always recognize the OS drive/partition as drive "C:". If you have two partitions, one with Vista, and one with 7, the Vista drive will see it's partition as drive "C:" and the 7 partition will see it's partition as drive "C:". If it's not showing up like that then something is wrong and you should try a repair install or a reformat.
