I've been reading about capture cards for about 3 hours now and i'm still no better off. People will say one works great and others will say it doesn't, and it's not like i can get a trial version to test either. I don't want to buy one and find out it doesn't do something specific that i want it to so i think it's best that i lay out everything i want out of a capture card and somebody can point me in the right direction.
1. I want to record Gamecube, Wii and PS2 gameplay
2. The card has to be under £100
3. Quality needs to be good, i don't want to see interlacing lines or anything and i want text to be readable
4. It needs to work well with my laptop, i have an Acer Aspire 5755G, i7 quad core processor, 6GB RAM
I have an HDTV so it will need to be able to plug into that. I use Pinnacle Studio for my editing so the files need to be compatible with it. Everything i own is PAL region (in case that matters).
Can anybody suggest any that might interest me? Thanks
