Solved ccleaner remove thunderbird application?

I've uninstalled thunderbird via control panel but it still shows in the ccleaner applications list (I assume it's in the registry)

Any ideas on how I can prevent thunderbird from showing in the applications section in ccleaner?

The "delete entry" button on the right maybe.

Probably it's due to leftovers from a faulty uninstall or simply that the uninstaller didn't delete something (probably user settings) intentionally. Anyway, by deleting them you get rid of them forever.

Problem solved.

From what I understand it's files that gets left over that makes CCleaner think a program is installed when infact it isn't.

To solve the problem I searched "appdata" in "run" and then within the 3 folders that showed up I searched through each one and deleted the folders I thought I didn't need (programs I had already uninstalled via control panel).

After doing so I opened CCleaner and Thunderbird was gone amongst a few other programs I deleted via the appdata method.

However certain programs failed to get removed like this so I had to delete the program entries manually myself through the registry.

CCleaner now only shows the programs I have installed. My original problem may be small but it's quite annoying as Thunderbird had a load of other options, was at top of list within the applications section on CCleaner of which then meant I had to scroll down the list!

Meh if anyone reads this, it helped me to remove programs in the CCleaner list and also if planning to edit the registry perform a backup as editing the registry can easily mess up your computer if you don't know what your doing properly.
