Changing just motherboard

I want to change my current motherboard without changing other components. What is the best way to go about this (steps, I mean)? I want to upgrade to Gigabyte's GA-970A-DS3P motherboard (I won't overclock BTW), which is the only option at this budget available at my local dealer's. Any opinions about the board and steps to upgrade?

I'd say the first step is to get a new oem/ system builders copy of win-7
The other is tied to the other mobo

Although changing out or upgrading a mother board may seem like a simple thing a lot of components might not be compatible most likely the cpu and ram will have to be upgraded as well.

I'm planning to buy a new OEM Win 7 (Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (OEM) (DVD): Amazon.in: Software)
I am also attaching a Cpu-z system summary to point out exact components.
