Solved Clean install after anytime upgrade?

I have Windows 7 Home Premium. If I do an upgrade to Professional and later need to do a reinstall, would I install Home Premium, and use the key to upgrade again or use the upgrade key during the install?

Simple answer - Yes.
An Anytime Upgrade key cannot be used for a Clean install - it requires an activated and validated installation from which to upgrade.
