computer freeze help

hello my computer was freezing after i loged in, my desktop never loaded it would just sit there. so i backed up my data and went to factory settings when i start it up its like i never used it. but thats not the problem, when i make a new password and hit next it freezes like it did befor... what is the promblem and how do i fix it?.. i got a hp dv4 in march with no protetion plan can i retern it and have them fix it?

Your warranty depends on where you bought your pc, and sometimes if you changed your operating system. You will need to contact the company you purchased the computer from, or read your warranty documentation.
