Computer Freezes Every 5 Minutes!

My Computer Freezes Every 5 Minutes! I then will hit Control Alt Delete and then cancel out right away and then everything is fine. What could cause this? My temporary files and history have been cleaned out. My anti-virus is working fine with no problems. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Deekster

Have you checked that you are using the latest drivers for you video card?

Just got this issue resolved! Finally! Checking my video card drivers (updates as well) it turned out to be the video card itself. Having suggested to check the video drivers was certainly putting me back in the right direction! I have had one day and a half without any freezes.

Much appreciated for the advice as the tech working on this issue wasn't even close until I mentioned your (right on) suggestion. All is well now! Thank you very much! Deekster
