This a fairly difficult problem to explain but I'll do my best with what I've experienced so far. When booting my PC with any Windows Disk.....Windows 7 Home Premium or a Windows 7 Repair CD I made on this computer.....the computer boots, finds the cd starts loading windows files....then will shut down immediately. All other bootable disks I have tried... Acronis, UBCD, etc boot just fine, and I have no problem. The same problem described above, happens exactly the same way when using bootable USB Flash Drives with Windows repair on it. The CD's and flash drives boot perfectly on other computers. I also discovered that when I pressed F8 at boot and try to do Windows repair that way, the computer also shuts down immediately. The same thing happened when I tried to do the Windows 7 Memory diagnostic at boot. Seems any Windows related repair/diagnostic is shutting it down. Very strange...you'd think the Windows Media would work if nothing ellse would.
