Seems really strange and unlikely to me also, the adaptor seems to work fine as soon as he goes around the DNS assigned by the ISP.

Maybe if the Op tried using googles DNS typed directly into the IPv4 properties window.

Or maybe just using a different driver or find another driver for this adaptor. Strange problem, havn't seen this one before.
