I have 2 PC
WINDOWS 7 (WORKSATION)
WINDOWS XP
connected through a 5 port switch (because I want to add more pcs)
I also have a wireless usb adapter connect to the windows 7 (workstation) pc

Both PCs are static ip 192.168.0.1 and 2 with default gateways being the ip of the other computer through a work network.

I can see both shared file and folders from both pcs so this is good.

The thing is, I can not connect on to the internet through the wireless adapter or even a cable.

Although the win7 says I have a connection and if I remove the windows 7 workstation from the network then the internet become available.

So how can I make the wireless internet connect and have the computers connected at the same time? if possible i would like to share the connection with the xp machine to

any help is very much apreiciated

Get a dual function, dual band router that can handle both wired and wireless. Sharing an internet connection is not the way to go here.

Modem>Router>Switch>PC's + wireless connection to the router.

If you really want to share the connection the tutorial in the link should help you get the IP's and default gateway correct. With most modern drivers you won't need to use crossover cable.

I'm not so sure ICS will work with that many machines.

Using a router would be the best way.
