Hi,

did not find much on my search terms so thought i would see if anyone else was having this same issue. It started about a week ago.

Issue: Constantly having to refresh browsers (IE FF Chrome) to get content. Attempt to load a page, the process circle is spinning, then i have to hit X to cancel the request and as soon as i refresh the page pops right up. Sometimes this works and sometimes it takes 5 or 6 times but many times it will come right up.. And this happens with different sites not just one or two.

What i have done so far:

Yesterday ran complete scan, MSE... uninstalled and reinstalled adobe flash, redid my java, and also reset to default and redid all my browsers, IE FF Chrome.

My ISP today ran some tests and i was having about a 12 percent packet loss. 50 lost 4... so they cleared my sock and my tcpip, which also caused me to re assign my DHCP which win7 did automatically when we chose to repair the connection. Ran another ping test and all is well now with that part.

I have also constantly run ccleaner and made sure my dns cache was clean.

Still having same issue..

i am running IE9

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks..

UPDATE:
sorry about posting this in wrong place... thanks for moving it :)

i also just noticed the power option was set on my network adapter so i turned that off. So maybe that could have been part of it.. At least now it will NOT be turned off to save power..

These are the best free scanners available,
Review Jacee’s instructions to run Adwcleaner here,
Ignore the title of the thread,
http://www.sevenforums.com/system-security/303717-unusual-remote-assistance-control-process.html
You can use these free tools to see if they find anything,
Manually Update them before running full scans,
Try not to use your computer while the scans are running, (one at a time of course).
Uncheck the box to Activate the Free trial from the final install options,

You should of used the full scan with Malwarebytes,
But yes Adwcleaner found quite a few bad ones,
Interested in the Superantispyware results as well/ Full scan never use your computer during these bug finding scans,
Cheers.

I also only scan with one program at a time. Just sit back and watch it.
Long scans won't take long with 12 gigs of ram and a ssd.

Thanks all, it takes just a bit longer for long scans as i have 2 gigs dedicated for Max Cached Icons in the reg. This is huge i know, i checked my desktop and each icon is only 1-2 kb but i have about 300 on 2 monitors, and i did this awhile back. I need to reduce that to 1024 as im sure the 2048 is total overkill.

yeah sadly though after all that (which im glad i did to get rid of that stuff) however i have the same issue. I still have to refresh sometimes 2 or 3 times to get sites to pop up... and 3x just now i had to close the browser and reload it and the site came right up. Really very strange.

Maybe instead of resetting IE and the other browsers, maybe i should just totally uninstall and reinstall. I just reset them before..

The way I have mine set up.

I.E.10 set as default with no hardware accelerator.
Firefox 24.0 no hardware accelerator.
Both have spell check.
Firefox has updated Flash player.
If you load either browser with a bunch of extensions you most likely create problems.

I also use AdwCleaner to check and remove junk.

I had horrible issues with ie10 first of this year so i went back to ie9. Thats what puzzles me because i dont have a bunch of extentions, for FF i have one ext for BF3 Better battlelog, and for IE i have the google bar with no extras. Thats it, which is why this is so wierd. Ok thanks so much... i will try to totally remove them and go from there.

Sorry Layback,

I just mentioned BBL because it was there. It is for playing Battlefield 3 and keeps your game stats. I have to relax sometime and play lol..

Regarding the issue, I did finally just remove IE FF and Chrome completely, I had to remove both version of IE the 32 and the 64 bit versions. I went back to version 8 but did not run it. Cleaned everything up nice and tidy then ran windows update and went right to IE10, I took the chance it was better now because it showed it was recently updated this month OCT... then I installed FF again, (no chrome yet but I will), and I put google bar back on IE..

I must say that IE10 does seem so much better, it was a dog earlier this year and I had a horrible experience, but it does seem to have settled down and issues corrected. It might also be better because I got rid of all that stuff too.

But anyway the issue I was having seems to have gone away, at least for now... so I am happy...

Thanks everyone for your help :) nice job
