control panel and personalise isn't opening

whenever i open control panel and personalise....a dialog box appears saying that windows explorer is not working.......windows is restarting......then it closes......how do i recover my computer......and one more thing...my microsoft windows defender contains a trojan....whenever i scan...c drive it shows a trojan in windows defender....i have repaired it several times......but i m unable to delete that trojan permanently.........wat to do?????

Hi and Welcome to the Forum
What are you scanning with? What Anti Virus software have you istalled and is it up to date? Did your computer come with Windows 7 Ultimate version pre-installed? If not where did your copy of Ultimate come from?

i hve got advanced system care ultimate 6....installed and it is up to date......and my CPU is assembled.......a couple of person came and assembled.....nd after dat..they installed this OS...........

When you say quote ".a couple of person came and assembled.....nd after dat..they installed this OS..........." Please look at the installation disc that they would hve given you and the Licence Key Certificate and say if you have a Retail version or an OEM verssion of Windows 7 Ultimate.
BTW why did you choose the Ultimate version when it is far more expensive than Home Premium and has very little that would be useful to the average user?
