Yes. Looks like backup.wim may be a wim capture of your live system.

Need to see the cmd files. Please upload:
backup.cmd
restore.cmd
autorestore.cmd
reboot.cmd
startnet.cmd

It should be possible to copy the recovery elements to usb stick. Backup.wim is probably too large for dvd.

The presence of imagex and the .cmd files indicates that is how your machine operates the restore, rather than using windows setup.exe as default. Also seems that grub is installed to your mbr to boot into the recov partition.

Two possible methods:

1. Copy the recovery elements as is to usb. Basically a backup of your recov partition.

Copy these to usb:

Code:
K:\backup.cmd
K:\backup.wim
K:\bootmgr
K:\EFI
K:\grldr
K:\hotkey
K:\imagex.exe
K:\Menu.lst
K:\reboot.cmd
K:\Recovery.tag
K:\restore.cmd
K:\AUTO\Autorestore.cmd
K:\AUTO\startnet.cmd
K:\boot\bcd
K:\boot\boot.sdi
K:\boot\bootfix.bin
K:\boot\etfsboot.com
K:\boot\fonts
K:\boot\fonts\chs_boot.ttf
K:\boot\fonts\cht_boot.ttf
K:\boot\fonts\jpn_boot.ttf
K:\boot\fonts\kor_boot.ttf
K:\boot\fonts\wgl4_boot.ttf
K:\EFI\microsoft
K:\EFI\microsoft\boot
K:\EFI\microsoft\boot\bcd
K:\EFI\microsoft\boot\fonts
K:\EFI\microsoft\boot\fonts\chs_boot.ttf
K:\EFI\microsoft\boot\fonts\cht_boot.ttf
K:\EFI\microsoft\boot\fonts\jpn_boot.ttf
K:\EFI\microsoft\boot\fonts\kor_boot.ttf
K:\EFI\microsoft\boot\fonts\wgl4_boot.ttf
K:\sources\boot.wim

2. Create something similar to standard installation media. It can be booted and windows setup.exe should be able to install. If you want to use on a different machine/different hardware, this is the way to go, but you would need to adjust to the new hardware.

[You are in luck as there is currently a give away of O&O diskimage 10.5. It is has a module which can be pointed at a restored drive and adjust it to new hardware.]

Format usb stick to ntfs and copy these to usbdrive

copy K:\backup.wim to usbdrive:\sources\install.wim

also copy these to usbdrive
Code:
K:\bootmgr
K:\boot\bcd
K:\boot\boot.sdi
K:\boot\bootfix.bin
K:\boot\etfsboot.com
K:\boot\fonts
K:\boot\fonts\chs_boot.ttf
K:\boot\fonts\cht_boot.ttf
K:\boot\fonts\jpn_boot.ttf
K:\boot\fonts\kor_boot.ttf
K:\boot\fonts\wgl4_boot.ttf
K:\EFI\microsoft
K:\EFI\microsoft\boot
K:\EFI\microsoft\boot\bcd
K:\EFI\microsoft\boot\fonts
K:\EFI\microsoft\boot\fonts\chs_boot.ttf
K:\EFI\microsoft\boot\fonts\cht_boot.ttf
K:\EFI\microsoft\boot\fonts\jpn_boot.ttf
K:\EFI\microsoft\boot\fonts\kor_boot.ttf
K:\EFI\microsoft\boot\fonts\wgl4_boot.ttf
K:\sources\boot.wim

Giveaway of O&O disk image Pro 10.5 Latest update 29/4/17

They send reg key and d/l link to your email. The program will offer to update ( free ) or upgrade to v11 ( not free ).

Afaik the difference is cosmetic - v11 has flat UI and something about DPI scaling.

It is pretty neat. Allows imaging to O&O format or vhd, or covert to vhd afterwards, allows exclusions from image, also has a decent pe maker ( with mounting ) and independent adjust to new hardware module.
