Coprocessor Device Drive Error, Help!

I have Windows 7 Ultimate and I go in to device manager and i have a yellow triangle with a "!" in the middle of it, and it says it can not find the right driver.

How can I fix this? What do i need to install to make this work again?

Welcome to seven forums iBlanksy: Just so you know for in th future it would be nice for other people if you would post how you resolved your issue.And then once you have you can click the red triangle in the corner and write resolved. then the thread will appear with a green check mark on it so others with the same issue can easily find this resolved issue using the search function. And how the hell did you slow it? Why you thinkin just about your self, why is so hard to write how you slow problem so other people can try to do what you did. So selfish!!!!!!!!

Hi Reptil, We try not to criticise people on this forum , In answer to your question downloading and reinstalling the motherboard chipset drivers normally solves this type of problem

pebbly: Ok sorry. Couse i have the same problem and i cant find anything, any driver or anything, and i dont know if this problem can make PC worst. I have posted a post with info of my computer and whats problem is before one or 2 days, but none answer, so i hope there is sombody who can replay me and say what to do Sorry again, wil not happen again!

Hi Reptil, If you know who the manufacturer of your motherboard is ,Go to their website and download and install the chipset drivers ,If you care to tell us the Make/model of your PC we may be able to find the drivers for you

Wel i try to search self, but im not so good with pc stuff, so i dont know how to search or any thing. And im scared to install such as big things before nybody can confirm that i wil not damage more my pc. Here is the link of post i made with my PC info , so there is everything of my pc.

pebbly: Hey ohh thank you so much. Right now im installing one game, but after im done with game, i wil download this driver you giv me.

One question what about other things under the Utilities. And Audio driver? I dont need to download and install this. Just the all in 1 driver need to install?

Hi reptil , Yes you only need to install the AIO driver, the missing coprocessor driver is part of the chipset package, If you install windows and only rely on Microsoft to supply the motherboard drivers it will only put on a basic package and that's why you sometimes get the coprocessor error

Okey thank you so much. I dont know how to thank you!.. I wil tell you later when i have install it. And about the other problem when pc starts: Warning Open Case detected is that big problem and can it harm more pc or is just like nothing? Sorry for my bad English. I have read about this Open case detected and Monitor somthing. And it can b fixed on bios and i have read that problem can b fixed to plug or unplug one cabel insside the pc not sure. But never read if that is a dangerus problem or is just like zero problem.

Hi reptil ,The open case is no problem at all It just tells you the case is open ,There should be a micro switch somewhere near the door or side panel that could be wired up the wrong way or you just may have the door/side panel open

Just wil thank you for help, i think i fixed the problem thanks to youwhen i go to Device there is no more yellow triangle

is just stay: Manufacture: To Be Filled By O.E.M.
Model: To Be Filled By O.E.M.
Model number : To Be Filled By O.E.M.

And when i switch to HARDWARE: is not anymore Coprocessor but is it ACPI FIXED FEATURE BUTTON

But there is no more Coprocessor thing and no more yellow triangle, so dont know if i fix it corectly but i think so. Thank you so much. Just tell me where to go so i change to dthe sloved option!
