corrupted txt files

when ever i make a new text file by right clicking and selecting new text file, it says it is corrupt, but when I do it by opening notepad and selecting save as.. it works ok.

Hello Cormac,

You might see if downloading and merging the txt option in the tutorial below may be able to fix this afterwards. It will restore all default associations for this file extension.
