I am not sure.. I did all thing but it still crashed. My cursor got big and it freezed and then no display.. I have to then forcefully shutdown the system..

Hello dean.. I am ready to do CPU-Stress test with prime.. but previous time when I was doing the cpu stress test, it worked good for around 10min when suddenly system crashed and after that when I was starting the system I was getting few beeps and a error related to invalid AC adapter.. my windows wasn't loading at that time.

I did windows "repairing startup problem". After that my windows loaded.

I am little afraid to do the CPU stress test as I have lot of important data stored in the system :( .. Is there any alternative of it.

Laptop freezes and screen goes black

I have Dell 1558 core I7 740QM processor, with ATI mobility Radeon HD 5470 graphic card and having Window 7 64bit home premium installed in it.

Laptop freezes suddenly with mouse cursor getting bigger and then laptop screen goes black. Then I have to manually forcefully restart the laptop

I have been facing this problem from 7-8 months now. I have contacted my dell support many a times... they have even changed the motherboard of my laptop but the problem is still not solved...
Now its confirmed that it is not a hardware issue. There is some conflict with my software.
The freezing happens maximally when I use Adobe Products.
Kindly plz suggest what can I do to resolve it. :(

Laptop Freezing and Crashing - BSOD

Hello,

I have Dell Studio 1558 laptop with core i7 processor, Windows Home Premium installed 64bit with ATI 1GB graphics card.

Laptop Freezes suddenly between my work, then screen goes black. Then I have to manually restart the laptop. Sometimes even gets blue screen error

Steps taken from my side:

1- I have scanned system entirely for any malware... and nothing found.
2- I have diagnosis the system and no error found...
3- I have updated all my drivers
4- I have formatted the laptop around 3-4 times
5- Since it is in warranty I have contacted dell support. They replaced my motherboard.
6- Error still getting again contacted Dell support and they replaced my Hard-Disk
7- Still happening the error... now even dell support people are confused about the problem.

This problem happens maximum time when I use any Adobe application or play any video on YouTube.
I don't think that now there is any hardware issue.

Kindly please please help me out. Since it crashes in between my work my all unsaved data goes away and all my hard-work of the entire day goes of no use.
