I'd like to copy the windows system recovery disk to a flash drive, but am having no success.

I have a copy on disk, so it's just a matter of transferring to a flash drive. I've created an ISO with IMG ( as suggested in another post ) and tried Dameon tools lite, but two utilities ( microsoft USB dvd tool and Rufus ) state it's not a valid file for them. Obviously I don't know whether it is a valid file or whether they are having trouble because it's corrupt. I think I used the disk before and didn't have any problems. Any other software I can try ( to create the ISO or to write to the flash drive ) ?

Should have tested the repair disk before posting this, as it's corrupt. Created another and have successfully written it to the flash drive.
