If you are using the integrated gpu from your processor it supports DX 10. You will need to get a discrete video card.

Yes they will. Whether the power supply that came with the computer is up to running them is another story. If what is shown here,

ASUS - Essentio CM6730

is any indication (350W), then you will be looking at a new power supply as well.

P.S. For what it's worth, the HD 5770 is faster than the GTS 450.

You need a Dedicated DX11 card... if you check around, you can get a Mid Level card for about 150 to 175.

Something like a GTX660 2GBs... check out slickdeals.com or hardforum.com for Hot Deals.

Vett... this is from the heart!!!

Look at my System Specs... nobody is on a tighter budget than me. I am a habitual penny pincher :D

Now, being said that, if you want to play Crysis 3 so bad, you are going at it all and completely wrong... and I mean with the out most respect and only looking to help.

C3 is extremely heavy on a computer, perhaps not as hard as C1 was but stll tough and if you want to skimp on hardware, you will only be wasting your money... anything less than a GTX660 2GBs (or a GTX550Ti) will put a heavy burden on your system and you'll be lucky to play at minimal settings with 15 frames per second.

Can I prove it? Not 100% but again, being on a tight budget I did my research and my homework and I waited about a month and a half to be able to get what I needed. All I can tell you is... be patient if money is tight right now... save a little and be happier later playing C3 and then the other newer games coming down the pike.

Remember, I was told that anything less than a GTX was not going to do the job and a GTS is lower. If you are still dead set on it, I do hope that I am wrong.

Good Luck

:ditto: I agree with AstaLaVista. Crysis is a demanding game.

This. Crysis 3 is extremely GPU heavy and to get decent FPS and other settings you'd be looking at a GTX 670 or so.

That requirement is for your total system. Use extreme power supply calc and see where you stand.

Yeah if the specs says it requires a 450, you probably want a PS with at least that; however, Dude does have a point.

That said, I'm inclined to say you want a 450. Anyway there are other cards out there, I just pointed to that one.

And I'm not in the habit of telling people how to spend their money, but if you want to play games like Crysis, you really might at some point in time consider upgrading the power supply, especially if you want a better video card.

Good luck.
