Current, most stable build of Windows 7, is?

I'm asking as I'm going to install it on my PC. I tried Windows XP Professional 64-bit but it seems it's not entirely compatible with my Core i7 system, and I know Vista is slower than Windows 7, so I'm wondering currently which is the best build of Windows 7 to use.

But I looked on the General Discussion forum and there's some people that have had problems with 7137 (network connections disappearing, icons disappearing, freezing, etc.), yet I never saw the same problems with 7127.

Since its a Core i7 I'm guessing your going to game with it so I would say 7127 since some games or parts or games have problems with 7137 (ie punkbuster)

Truth is I do game a little (Half-Life 2 and Command Conquer: Red Alert 3), mostly software development.

One game I cannot get to run no matter what Windows OS I use, is the Race Driver GRID (by Codemasters) demo. I create a profile, then it says Loading and it sits there, no hard-drive activity, nothing. I tried Windows XP x64, Windows XP x86 and Windows Vista x64. Obviously I won't be buying the full version unless the demo works.

Have you heard any reports of Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server having problems? Those are what I usually use to develop software, mainly 64-bit actually.

So is build 7200 released, or leaked yet? I'd like to start with as close to RTM as possible, just like the rest of us I suppose.

I know this is the environment we choose to be in, but, installing and setting up 7127 then finding out a newer stable build is available, then starting over (wiping hard-drive, setting up apps, etc.) would be a pain.

LOL! It's awsome, especially the fast fingers and the lightening bolts in the head! If you find 7200 let me know, I'm loath to installing a build I know is safe and just when I finish, a newer one comes out! Oh no!

So the word on the 7200 is that it is out and around but not on the scene yet, I would love if it came out soon, seeing as I have not set everything up on my new install, and it would be less of a hassle to upgrade sooner then later I suppose.
