Got a question. I have done a couple of searches, but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. It's possible that I am just not typing in the right words. So, I'm wondering if you can all help.

There's a feature on Macs that allows for your gadgets on your desktop to disappear and then all reappear by simply pressing a button. I believe it is called the dashboard. Do you know, does Windows 7 have an app that can create the same thing?

Thanks for your help!

I've done more searching and still can't find what I'm looking for. It looks like there are some options, but the reviews these programs get are all pretty fair to almost bad. One of the programs is to add Mac gadgets to your desktop, which is not what I'm looking for.

All I'm looking for is the possibility to press one or two keys that will hide or show all of the gadgets on my desktop. I found the windows+G that brings the gadgets up to the front, which is cool, but I would still like to have the gadgets disappear from the desktop until I call them up. Any more ideas? Thanks for any suggestions.

Don't know if any of you were interested, but someone [prisoner] has just created a program that can do what I was looking for. If you want it, go to the following page:

http://www.sevenforums.com/customization/63796-transparency-project.html

You can find the program in the first entry right underneath the transparency program. It's called "Gadget Minimizer."
