Default Gateway Not Available

Hello all,

I have been experiencing problems with the above error message - I use the Windows network trouble-shooter to resolve the problem and Windows proceeds to reset the network adapter and all is fine again until next time.

This problem used to happen once every few days but since I updated to the latest network card drivers the problem is happening every few hours.

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate Edition 64 Bit and my Network adapter is a Broadcom Netlink Gigabit Ethernet Adapter. My modem is the BT (British Telecom) Home Hub 4.

If you need any other information from my system please ask and I'll post them for you.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tested in Safe Mode with Networking ? ...


Can you Please Post the Model Number of your Computer ...


It would also be helpful if you tell us what Steps you have already taken to resolve the issue ...
