Im using Win 7 x64 and in the notification area, it shows sound. But nothing comes out of speakers. When I click on the other playback device, it works! I set it to default, turn off computer, and settings have changed!! Any help?

Are you setting the "speakers" as the default Playback Device and in the Control Panel/Hardware and Sound/Sound Panel? If not that is where you need to set the defaul Playback device.

When you "turn off" the PC are you using the Windows "Shut down" button to power off or are you just powering it off with the PC's power button or a switch on a power strip? If you don't use the Windows "Shut down" it won't save any changes.
