Hi there ... Seems to me that you don't know what you have Disabled .. What was the Result of your Scan ? .. Do you have any Restore points before you made the changes ?

There are no Services in Win7 that need to be disabled to optimize performance. If there were then we would know about it here at the top tech forums on the web, where we've been tinkering with Win7 since before beta. Every Service edit we found has an unintended consequence.

This is not XP or early Vista. All Services in Win7 not absolutely needed at Startup are set to Manual on Fast Triggers developed for Win7, which also saved Vista.

Win7 is the first featherlight OS which requires no tweaking whatsoever beyond normal system settings. These same steps shown Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 compile what works best based on helping with tens of thousands of installs here over five years. Stick with these tools and methods and as long as you have adequate hardware Win7 will run perfectly with never a hang or hesitation.

Unfortunately, since we aren't mind readers, you are really going to have to help us out here.

With the tidbit of info you gave, a valid response was given, yet you respond with,

Uh I don't want to do that becouse I will have to change everything again from scratch

You said you know about SFC, did you run it?

You said you know about SFC, did you run it?

No becouse it will restore my other settings changes that I made, and I will have to reapply them all again, and there a alot them in services, I don't want to do that all over again or I wouldn't have to?

P.S
I don't have any virus or spyware or anything like that.

Sorry, I don't understand why someone would ask for help and then refuse to even try the options given.

Not to mention, your vague description of what you 'might' have done...

I will try it, but will it restore my other settings to default ?

That's the idea. As mentioned by gregrocker above, you don't need to mess with any of those settings.

If you insist on doing it, you should at least have system restore enabled, but the best option for

anyone who uses a computer is to have and keep a regular imaging schedule so when things go

wrong, as they have for you, you can easily get right back to where you were.

Glad you figured it out, I still recommend an imaging routine, especially since you like to play around with things,
