For a free defragger, Defraggler isn't too bad. When I use it though, I defrag from the File List tab instead of the main Drive tab. Not sure exactly why, but doing it from the Drive tab takes forever, selecting all files from the file list tab is really quick. Maybe from the File List tab it's just a quick defrag.

Auslogic's defrag is not bad as well.

Thanks Airbot for your description, yes i've just tryed this on my old xp machine, works great.
Yes i went for the file list first, and found if you use ccleaner you can delete what system restore points you want to remove, which would then not show up in defraggler..........cool

Thanks again

You're welcome.

You can also go to Folder Options in the Control Panel of Windows, View Tab, uncheck 'Hide Protected Operating System files' then go to Setttings-Options-Exclude tab in Defraggler, browse to folder-Local Disk, and exclude system volume information folder. Then go back to folder options and recheck Hide protected..
That will exclude the restore points from being defragged, instead of just deleting the restore points.
