Installed fresh copy of Win7 build 7100 x86 and there is long delay in boot sequence. Just windows logo animation shows and there is no activity around 1-2 minutes. Then Windows just start up without any error. Anyone know how to check what should be wrong? Previous builds was ok.

On ntbtlog.txt just found:

vga.sys, video driver could have become corrupted

NDProxy.SYS is a network device driver ... Go into Device Manager and see if you have two active network device drivers running. If you do, see which one is the 'default' driver, then disable the other one.

Run system file checker:

Type "cmd" into the Search box above the Start Button>and when cmd comes up
at the top of the Start menu>right click cmd and click "run as Admin" and
when the cmd prompt comes up at the cmd prompt type "sfc /scannow" no quotes
and let it run. This may fix things... it replaces corrupted files with intact ones.

Tried everything. It is clean install of W7 7100, nothing more. Tried default drivers, tried new drivers, still the same problem. But this is ONLY in 7100 build. I have also build 7057 and it works fine.

Seems like there's a problem with this build. Try downloading from another source and see if you find any difference.

Problem fixed - changed in BIOS SATA Type from AHCI back to Native IDE. Have no idea what is wrong with AHCI with this RC Win7, but problem is only in build 7100. Worked fine in previous build.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but this is the first google result for when I had this exact same problem which I've just fixed.
I had my BIOS set to look for a floppy drive on startup, which I've now disabled and everything works fine. Hope that helps some of you.
