Today, 11/23/2014, around 11:00 I was working on my laptop when it blue screened and I do not know what had caused it. Prior to the blue screens I was experiencing random shutdowns for the past week and a half and I noticed in the Event Viewer, there are 4 critical kernel power entries with Event ID 41, but all of the BugCheck codes were 0x0, with the parameters being all 0x0 for all of the 4 entries which I thought was odd. Then today, I experienced an unexpected bluescreen. I checked with BlueScreenView and it had the error code 0x000000fe. I looked in event log and it was a kernel power entry with the exact same Event ID 41, but it had an error code, unlike the other entries. This is what event viewer shows for the bluescreen:
BugcheckCode 254
BugcheckParameter1 0x6
BugcheckParameter2 0xfffffa800450aa55
BugcheckParameter3 0x4f444648
BugcheckParameter4 0x0
SleepInProgress false
PowerButtonTimestamp 0
Before this happened, I was just using Google Chrome and was not using intensive programs at the time, so I am not sure what had caused it. Looking forward to some help. Thanks!
