Dell M3800, WIN 7 64 Bit NVIDIA control panel wot working

Hi,
I have an Dell M3800 running Win 7 64 bit.

I recently noticed that my NVIDIA does not seem to work.

In control panel, when I go to NVIDIA Control panel and tap on same it open up saying NVIDIA 7.5.8.00 has stopped working and gives me only an option to close. When i click on close it comes out to main page on Control panel.

In device manager, it does not show anything and when i try to update driver it says you have latest driver.

Pl. advise what may be the issue and how can I fix it.

I would advise following the link below and completely removing the current Nvidia driver. Check with Dell's website if they've added any Nvidia driver that would normally come with the laptop or refer to a stable driver for your GPU model.

Hi,
TresV thanks, did the same and issue is solved.

But I have a new problem. If I take my laptop and move it the laptop hangs and all keys including the cursor become like frozen in time. Nothing responds. Only way out is for me to Hold the power button till the laptop reboots/ forced reboot.

Please advise what may be the problem.
