Hello! I was wondering if there are any cases out there that are compatible with the Dell XPS 410 Mobo. I really need a new case, the old case is BEAT UP! I know, well think i know, that the Dell XPS 410 Stock case is a BTX? Thats at least what i was told.

Any suggestions?
Thanks!:)

I have a xps 410 still. It has a dell modified BTX motherboard so finding a new case would be rather hard as far as I know. That old xps has been running fine all these years though.

Yea, it would be nice to get a new case with better cooling, just the other day before it gave out on me, it overheated. So i had to manually make a custom fitting for 2 fans in the back.

Its been running very well, i use it as a gaming PC until it crashed.

The only reason I really want a new case is for more room. The old case is too crammed.

The only cases you will fit a BTX board is in another Dell case. There are no 'non-dell' BTX cases that I've ever seen.

If you want larger, it'll have to be second hand.

If the mobo were ATX - no problems. BTX however...

Another thing to consider on many Dell's is they use a proprietary and undocumented front panel connector. Not the industry standard style.

There are some user listed breakouts for the Dell proprietary connectors however they can vary from model to model so unless you have the breakout for that exact model it won't do much good.

Great point fireberd, I knew the mb's were custom but didn't think about that. That is exactly why I prefer custom builds to pre-built.
