Desktop will not boot when I have new Power Supply

1) So you connected your cable into the wall.
2) You turn on your computer(????)
3) You unplug the cable from the wall
4) Your computer now wont boot up/turn on/post

yes i plug the power cord into the outlet and when i press power in front of the tower still will not boot and there's no power switch.

when i unplug the power cord from the power supply it made a sound like the power supply shutting down or something....... few weeks ago it never made that sound before when pc still not booting up

I am sorry but your going to need extra hardware to start testing.
It seems like an issue with your motherboard right now. Can you test your power supply in another machine?
I doubt that 2 power supplies stop working.

We have told you all you can do. Check your connections, double make sure they are tightly inserted.
Make sure your front panel connecters are in the proper place. Also confirm that the issue isnt your wall socket. And that your motherboard isnt making surface contact with the case itself.

I highly recommend you take it to a local shop so that they can check your motherboard and they tend to have more equipment which they can spare to test.

Make sure all connections on the motherboard are connected and seated all the way, take all ram out and start the computer. It will not start without ram, but if the motherboard is acting properly, you should hear a serise of beeps, to tell you there is no ram.

Have you tried this?
It is important that you do this Test as it will tell us if the motherboard is functioning properly.

K guys, i did the paper clip test, computer turn on , fan is loud though but no lights showing up in front of the computer tower which is the power button and hard drive which all connected using the same connector. I can't check if the computer booted up on windows log in page since I accidentally broke the pins from the monitor. I'll check that out later..

also when i did the test, no green light on the motherboard i guess because connector not connected to it? it's the 24pins power connector

I've had this same issue with one of my older computers. the power supply went, but not only did the power supply go it took out my mother board. Do you have another computer you can try your new power supply in to make sure it works? If so you should make sure your new power supply works.

I do not know how i may have ignored or forgotten that but yes, sometimes power supplies get feisty and take other components along with them.

Run a good search on how to tell if your mother board is dead. I am not going to do any kind of copy and past. hope this helps
