Here's my problem: my 7 net partition, which I add all my digital copies of movies to is infected by "Win 7 Antispyware 2012". happened last night. Can I move or copy the drm cache to one of my other 7 partitions? That way, I can just wipe the infected partition, and start over again. I just don't want to lose my 30+ movies tied to the infected drive...Can this be done? Thanks for any help in advance...I could probably spend days searching through all it's files to find and delete the infection, but there always seems to be problems with a given partition after doing it that way...

I, so far, haven't gotten the e-mail with download link for that program. It's been 4 hours, have been looking through that drive and can't find any of the referenced files, or even close facimiles.
I'd like to just move or copy the rights to the other partition, it'd be so much easier.

Hi,
What email link are you referring to? You don't need any emails to clean this infection.

I would recommend you run this cleanup since your other partitions may also be infected. You will not be able to find the referenced files you mention, since those listed in the link are an example only - the infection uses completely random file names as mentioned in the guide.

Unfortunately, I have no idea about digital rights copying, so i can't help you with that.

Regards,
Golden

When I tried to download the first of the four programs listed, it wanted my e-mail and name, said it would mail me the download. Still hasn't been done. So I loaded Kapersky into my studio 7 partition, and scanned the infected one next to it. It found, and cleaned the Trojan, but the virus really killed it, it can't open any programs (.exe). Tries to open with media center. So I'm hoping my 7 disk can repair it now without screwing up my rights to the movies. I will post result tomorrow, after I find my disk, that is...
Oh, and I will scan the entire computer after I repair my 7 Net partition tomorrow...
