I was using the Microsoft windows room correction where you position your mic at head level, press a button and stand back, it then plays sounds to itself to determin delay and distance of the speakers, this gave me the best results ive ever had from room corretion!
However i was having unrelated sound problems so i installed the latest Realtek drivers for my device and now i have the crappy realtek room correction, how do i get the windows one back without uninstalling realtek drivers?
I like all the other realtek enhancements and the dolby master studio, its just the room correction.

Can you help?

Thanks,

Max

The latest realtek drivers seem to have removed all the effects including the realtek bass adjuster... kind of a step in the right direction... but i need some of those settings....
Driver R2.43

Well, Try to reset all by default in the Audio HD Realtek manager in the control Panel...then reset to default the speakers and mic in Sound manager from either control panel...

See step by step when you're enabling digital room correction with Microsoft Sound what does it says.

It must be a parameter that is overriding the Microsoft digital room correction you want.

Thanks for your help, but ive tried all this, i think the best option is just to leave it uninstalled until realtek update their room correction software!

Thanks for all your help though :)

Thanks so much for your continued support, but it seems that i either have to choose between having the control panel and the realtek room correction, or not having it and having the microsoft room correction.

Thanks for your help ;)
