My PC has been acting up, freeze ups, not enough memory to complete process errors, limited access internet connections, file transfers very slow, etc. I ran the windows Performance Index test and everything was at 7.9 except memory and CPU was at 7.7, both down from they're normal 7.8 score.
I ran the Windows Memory Diagnostics Tool and saw this.

I just figured that one of my memory sticks is going bad. My Computer properties still shows a total of 32GB which is correct, but that still doesn't mean that there's not an issue with one of the sticks. I tried taking two of the sticks out and also tried different sets of two and running the Performance Index tests again. Now I'm getting scores in the low 70's for "Primary Hard Disk"
I went looking in Device Manager and found two things listed under "System" that show "No drivers installed, but yet do show Microsoft driver is installed.

I tried updating the driver for the "Direct Memory Access Controller" from the AMD Chipset folder, but keep getting the old, "The best driver is already installed. I tried uninstalling the driver and doing a restart, once again the Microsoft driver is back to being installed. I don't care that if it uses a Microsoft driver, but what do I do about the "No driver installed"?
Before I order a couple new memory sticks, could the "Direct Memory Access controller " be the soul cause of the errors that I've been getting?
Thanks guys
