Hello!
I was repairing a laptop, and as a last step I moved back the backup of the documents I made prior to the reinstall.
I was waiting at least half a minute on a write cache buffer flushing enabled system after the moving completed to safely remove the drive, after four failed attempts I just unplugged the drive. I placed it back into the notebook, booted up, then:
At first it showed 93,1 GB free, as if I had moved nothing on it.
After I restarted Windows, it showed the folder for just a couple of seconds before it vanished, but now the free space checks out, the files are on there, only the records pointing to them seem to be corrupted.
How can I restore these records?
Thanks in advance!
