Good afternoon,
Is there a way I can disable creating a restore point please?
The reason for this is to speed up a clean install prior to imaging.
What I do first is to clean install the OS, then run all the updates, make changes to the system so it is how I want it, then install programs that I use and know to be safe. Once that is all done and everything is how I want it I take a system image.
I know that the Windows updates is the main trigger for creating a restore point.
I would have already disabled automatically create system restore point at startup & daily from Task Scheduler in making changes to the system so it is how I want it.
Thanks in advance.
