I have an USB stick prepared for windows 10 unattended install, I usually use it also for transfer data between PCs. Here a link to autounattend.xml file included in its root directory:

It was prepared to be completely NON interactive. So you boot from the USB key and it delete disk partitions, recreate new ones, install windows10, finalize configuration and that's all.

Few days ago I have to print a document, so I putted it on that USB key, plugged in and power on a PC to print that doc...
that machine contains a windows 7 installation.
After boot, windows 10 logo appeared and I remember it was an unattended installer. So Ctrl Alt Canc and abort process.

But after reboot the system cannot boot, just prints at screen:

Code:
Reboot and select proper boot device or insert Boot Media in selected boot device and press key

I tried to analyse the disk using this live system:
systemrescue-13.01-amd64.iso

But frankly I don't understand if it can find any previous partition.
It seems to find current partition table, but it match size and structure created by XML instructions. So the odl partition table seems to be overwritten, even if I aborted install process...

I'm here to ask for any suggest to recover my disk partitions structure and if possible all system.
Even if this is a windows forum, I'm a linux user so also any suggest unixbased is greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot in advance!

It probably deleted partitions early in the installation. The partition is likely deleted, if so it's recoverable, if it hasnt been overwritten by new files.

testdisk tool, part of systemrescue live OS, finds some partitions. If I well understood by pressing "P", it should show files and directories that partition contains... but instead... nothing is shown. Those partitions just seems empty.

I need some suggest about how find old partitions using sysrescue or any tool, free if possible, to recover the system as before my bad deal... thank you again in advance
